About us Reasons to donate Who we are Royal Museums Greenwich is a non-exempt charity and National Museum, we rely on your support. Significant reductions in Grant-in-aid in recent years, means that we rely on the help of our supporters to ensure our future. Support from members of the public, companies and charitable organisations helps to: keep our four sites open, maintain free entry at the National Maritime Museum and Queen’s House; conserve and study our collections; build and refurbish galleries; curate exhibitions to share histories and stories; improve facilities; acquire objects for our collection; and develop our learning and schools programmes. Our supporters become part of the adventure and have helped us to achieve all of this.
