Royal Museums Greenwich has 10 community places for the half marathon which will begin at Tower Bridge. At the 13.1 mile mark you will join a celebration of epic proportions by crossing the finish line at Cutty Sark.

The money raised by Team Cutty Sark will go towards a sustainable future for the ship. This includes the ongoing preservation of this historic vessel as well as the work she delivers for schools, families and community groups.

The ship’s age, weather conditions and general wear and tear means that she needs daily attention from our skilled team of ship technicians and volunteers.

Cutty Sark’s award winning learning team (recognised with a Sandford Award for Excellence in Heritage Education) deliver a busy Schools Programme and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Programme, as well as an expanding calendar of family events. Children are engaged with subjects spanning the National Curriculum, through the lens of maritime history, have the opportunity to speak to important characters from the ship’s history and learn about life on board.
